A muslin in a fabric similar to the final fabric is presented to the client at a fitting in the client’s studio or our Paris offices, in the presence of the patternmaker.

This model allows us to suggest industrial or hand-crafted construction methods depending on each case, since it is made by sample seamstresses on industrial machines.

Draping

From sketches given to us by our clients, five patternmakers create muslins by draping on a dress dummy or using flat patternmaking, depending on the situation.

An in-house fitting on a live model with measurements requested by each client allows us to correct the first muslin.
